This privacy policy applies to all information collected through our website, https://vawlt.io and through our platform, accessible only by our customer’s administrators at https://platform.vawlt.io/login, collectively referred in this privacy policy as “Site”.

This privacy policy DOES NOT APPLY to the data you store using our service. Since we use a zero-knowledge end-to-end encryption protocol, there is no technical path for us to have functional access to such data. For more information please refer to our Terms of Use.

1. What information do we collect?

Personal information you disclose to us
  • We collect the name and e-mail addresses of our customers’ users, provided by the customers’ administrators, and necessary for us to provide our service to our customers. This information is securely stored in our databases, in an encrypted form.
Information automatically collected
  • We automatically collect anonymous information, namely IP addresses, and/or browsers and devices characteristics when you visit our Site.
  • Regarding our customers’ users, we collect the device name and IP address of the devices used to login to Vawlt via our software, and such information is also securely stored in our databases, in an encrypted form.

2. How do we use your information?

  • We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent.
  • We use the information we collect, or receive:
    • We may use your personal information to send you product, service and new feature information and/or information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
    • We may use your information to request feedback and to contact you about your use of our Site.
    • To enforce our terms, conditions and policies for business purposes and/or for legal reasons.

  • All the data provided by our customers’ administrators, and the data automatically collected by us in order to deliver our service to you, is securely stored in our databases, in an encrypted form.
  • Although we will always do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Site is at your own risk. You should only access the services within a secure environment.
